Beautiful ride following a great companion from Canberra to Goulburn on curvy picturesque backroads, followed by a blast on the M5 from Goulburn to Sydney. Came to realise that backroads work with the lay of the land for easy riding, while motorways are made to attack the lay of the land with brute engine force.

Thanks to Pen's great generosity lending me for a swag, I was able to camp on Cockatoo Island one night, then Lane Cove camping park the second night. The swag is too large to fit on the back of the bike but straps onto the side just right.

Five days of intense jobs in Sydney while riding Sydney traffic was exhausting, but I did it all successfully. The jobs went really well and while I loved riding roads on my bike seeing sights I'd only before known from living in Sydney and driven through inside cars and buses, Sydney traffic is intense far beyond Canberra traffic and not something I desire to do much. Give me the open roads.

Jobs finished on Friday, rode out to Wollongong.

A ride down one of my favourite roads the day before leaving.
